Description
Combination of local hardwood and softwood ply. Typically has a light colour and reddish colour on alternate sides of plywood sheets.
Plywood is a generic name known worldwide as thin wood sheets that are glued and pressed together.
In Indonesia it is also known as Multiplex and Triplex.
Triplex and multiplex differ only in the number of layers of wood. If there are three layers of wood, it is called triplex, while if the layers consist of more than three sheets, it is called multiplex.
